Travel on Public Transport
Prevention is key.
North East Bus Service with the guidance from the Tasmanian Government, are taking extra care to ensure safe and clean buses for all our passengers.
To ensure your safety, all buses are deep cleaned and sanitised twice a day.
To minimise the risk of transferring Covid – 19 we ask all our passengers to practice the following.
- Sanitise your hands on boarding. (Supplied on buses)
- Practise social distancing where possible.
- Use non-cash payment options or tender the correct fare.
- Apply for a smartcard. (Application on our website)
- Comply with all instructions from your driver.
- Avoid using public transport if you are not well.
